You can start by posting your creation and showcasing your skill on social media. You can also post it on Roblox devforum example of how they introduce their self Here. And you can get an idea of what kind of work they make or what they are and where you can contact them.

You want to earn money without joining a project

RBXSets is a discord server where you sell your creation and buy other creations made by another developer. The risk here is how you get the payment because it's up to you and the client on how is the payment going to be either cash or Robux or via PayPal or another payment method. Warning you might get scammed so be careful selling your creation. I recommend using a third party whenever you sell something.

Starting your own project

Making a big project might cost you a lot of money. Before Hiring someone you need to know them first and their background ask them if they have experienced before and done it before. look at their creation and see if the price their asking is worth base on their skill. Make sure your mind is focused on the project, Also explaining your project to the team is not easy so make sure they can see and understand what you're trying to make.
